Me and the RaspberryPi /7
A little update: I finally succeeded to make a single cross-shaped fixing hole pair instead of 4 pairs.
Now there is more room for two strips of bi-adhesive tape as an alternative fixing technique.

I have been really impressed by your case and very anxiously awaiting to get my raspberry pi and then get my hands on this case. I just had a request, for those that would eventually like to use the GPIO (like me) would it be possible to have one revision of the case where there is a cut-out portion on the top cover exposing just the GPIO, so a ribbon cable can be plugged into it? I hope there would be enough interest generated for such a case.
Regardless, you have made a very good design and hope you are successful in bringing it down to a reasonable cost…am looking forward to purchasing one.
Great job!!

I’m thinking about a version with the aperture for GPIO access.

Great! The case becomes better and better.

Please find some cheaper alternative than shapeways. It’s kinda counterproductive when the case is more expensive than the PC.

I’m at work for that purpose. 😉
